Privacy Policy

This policy explains what meryn.ai collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers two different things, and the difference matters: our public website, and the application you log into.

1. The public website

When you browse meryn.ai, we collect:

• Analytics, through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site or campaign that referred you. By default this runs without cookies — we can see that a visit happened, but not that two visits were the same person. Cookies are only used if you accept them in the banner.
• Where you came from — the campaign or site that referred you — stored in your browser, not in a cookie, so that if you contact us we know which channel brought you. If you decline cookies this is cleared when you close your browser; if you accept, it is kept for up to 90 days. Either way it is first-party and never leaves our systems.

We do not run advertising, we have no advertising platform connected, and we do not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

2. The contact form

If you write to us or join the waitlist, we store what you type — name, email, company, message — together with the referral information described above. We use it to answer you and to understand which channels work. Nothing else.

3. The application

If you have an account, we store your email, name, the team you belong to, and the data you upload to build marketing mix models: spend and performance figures by channel and date, plus the models and results produced from them.

That uploaded data is yours. We process it to run the models you ask for and for nothing else — we do not use it to train anything, we do not combine it across customers, and we do not sell it. Application pages are excluded from analytics entirely, so nothing about which client a team works with is ever sent to Google.

4. Cookies and similar storage

You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings in the footer, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.

5. Who else processes your data

We rely on these providers, and on no others:

We are based outside the European Union and our providers are in the United States, so data you send us is processed there.

We do not currently process payments. If that changes, this page will list the payment provider before any card details are ever collected.

6. How long we keep it

• Analytics: retained by Google for up to 14 months.
• Contact messages: kept while they are useful to answer you and to understand our channels.
• Account and uploaded data: kept while your account is open. Deleted data is removed from our database and file storage.

7. Your choices

• Analytics cookies: decline them in the banner, or change your answer later through Cookie settings. Declining does not degrade the site in any way.
• Access, correction or deletion: write to us and we will do it. We do not require a specific form or a particular reason.

8. Children

meryn.ai is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
